Thats one massive positive no one can take from Brendan. He really has given players like Ibe, Sterling and Can the ball to run with.

There have been others too. So from that regard I think he will get a fair crack.
    *Except Michael, who died.

My guess is that he wont come into the side straight away, so maybe a couple of months loaned out to another lower Prem Side or top Championship team (Derby again maybe)

Who knows though. Weird being so indifferent about one of our signings.
He'll be eased into the team/league, much of the early season will be spent on the bench (assuming we have Sturridge and/or a new striker fit and available). I ddon't see him going out on loan anywhere to be honest.

Liverpool's disappointing season ended with an abysmal 6-1 defeat to Stoke City and it does not look like Divock Origi has fared much better out on loan at Lille.

The Reds signed the Belgian international for £10 million last summer from Lille, but allowed him to spend the season on loan at the French club.

However, he has been named by respected French sports daily L'Equipe in their worst XI for the season based on average match ratings for all players who have made at least 21 appearances.

Origi scored eight Ligue 1 goals as Lille finished eighth.

Origi is built for the Prem, even this cack-handed Liverpool side would offer him far more goal-scoring chances than a deeply conservative Lille - though they did open up a bit later in the season.

Doesn't get much easier for BR and teh committee to explain things does it, they can't even point to players not yet arrived and say....'look..he'll be great once he gets to a harder tougher league'.

I never understood the signing, had a few good showings in the world cup and we signed him. Done very little of note in a weak division. Would love it if he turned into a cracking signing but really wouldn't be surprised if it goes the other way.

Plus you've got to question where his head's at. He's not going to risk injury and potentially miss out on his chance with us next season. He's probably coasted through this season in third gear.

He's no Suarez then. More a Sterling type of character.

And the world has yet to see Origi ripping it up at right wingback.
