In an interview he said, something along the lines, that apart from Chelsea every other top english club had neglected their defensive side, he spoke of the need for top quality CB and defensive midfielders. His view is that this is the reason for the poor run in Europe.

I'm as excited to see him play for us as I was to see Ibe come into the team in January. I think he's as good as Ibe personally, but the proof will be in the pudding (and the attitude).

Agree with all that, I personally dont think Chelsea are that fantastic either

Terry is finished, hes all over the gaff, Cahill has carried Terry for most of the season and its really starting to show in his performances

Yeah Diouf did France over when they came into the tournament as holders from what I remember - he was on fire (at least compared to his time with us).

I really have zero expectations when it comes to Origi. I thought he looked good at the WC last year. But since then he seems to have been just another player in the french league.

My guess is that he wont come into the side straight away, so maybe a couple of months loaned out to another lower Prem Side or top Championship team (Derby again maybe)

Who knows though. Weird being so indifferent about one of our signings.

I think its good that we don't ant to heap too much expectation onto him. I think he looks a good fit for us. Whether he has the quality to back that up we'll have to see.

I think we have to be strong and give him chances with us.
