Thats the point he was making.... its time to put an end to that kind of thinking ... He mentioned that Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs all defend deep against us when they dont have the ball ... we as fans need to turn up to these games, give the visiting teams credit, be patient and support the team to the last kick of the gameOriginally posted by fah-q View PostGiven our usual kindness to newly promoted teams, we should be worried about ourselves.
Its hard to argue with any of thatAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

Houllier also make a lot of important overdue structural changes to bring the club up to scratch in areas where it had been lagging behind the other top European clubs.Originally posted by Lecter View PostIts funny how we have quantified esteem
Houllier brought us a decent amount of silverware but I dont look back on the football or him with much reverence.
He overhauled the facilities at Melwood and brought in things that Continental clubs had been doing for years, like sports nutrition and modern training and recovery practices..

Yeah, he really upped our game behind the scenes. He was a bit of a whopper but he was a solid manager and had some measured success. But most of his influence was behind the scenes i guess.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostHoullier also make a lot of important overdue structural changes to bring the club up to scratch in areas where it had been lagging behind the other top European clubs.

Great little 'speech' about the mentality of the media and indeed players and supporters alike about how games, all games must be approached. It's clear enough that Klopp finds plenty of the questions inane, often based on fallacy but he meets them with a certain forthright grace. He lets them know he knows more than they do but without being 'a git'.Originally posted by Nicey View PostLiverpool vs. Hull City - Jurgen Klopp's Full Pre-Match Press Conference - YouTube
I love the very bones of this man, so intelligent, Sow Emootional we are very very lucky to have him and the supporters need to listen to him rather than the ****s on 606, the numpties on Sky (except Carra) and the utter gob****es online.

The Houllier years are weird in my mind. Granted, he seemed to have brought a new found level of professionalism to the club but by **** his teams could be so boring.
The treble was great but it wasn't the real treble. We could have lost all three of those finals. I was glad when he went. Grateful for what we achieved but underwhelmed.
Klopp makes me happy!I love Sarah

Jurgen got the message across nicely to the fans in that presser, just enough agitation.
Journos are so **** in pressers with him, he clearly goes through light hearted and serious moments and they dont react to it but say whatever question they had before they walked in room, never get the best out of him but shut down.
The proper sit down 1 to 1's are so much better at opening him up.

Anyone see him at the end of the MOTD interview?
The reporter said "Did you realise it was Mike Phelan's birthday today?"
Klopp - "It's not really my problem no."
"Who mad the fixtures? The FA, the FA yes blame them"
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

its the first time in a while i have seen players moving around into other positions and others interchanging with them. much more fluid and it shows more intelligence [training] from the team.
it was only hull but we have often [post suarez] struggled against teams like this.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

We did it to good effect yesterday, but it's nothing new under Klopp. A key reason for signing Mane was to allow fluidity in the attacking positions and that's why Klopp seems to favour Firmino starting up top.Originally posted by baitman View Postits the first time in a while i have seen players moving around into other positions and others interchanging with them. much more fluid and it shows more intelligence [training] from the team.
