They are both upgrades. They are both big personalities. If they make a mistake they don't go to **** over it. They have also won titles.

I'm not looking for a keeper that doesn't make mistakes, they all do including de gea. Someone that on his day saves shots he has no right to, who can organise and bollock the defenders if required. Mignonette has plenty of the tools but he's timid as ****. Always will be.

        He has indeed, among them.

2017's Highest % of goals conceded to shots ratio of the year.
2016's Spanish Netminder with least to do of the year.

I think most people here will agree that we need a CB, LB, CM, CF and a GK.
Mignolet has had an upturn in form, but he seems to go through these periods of good form for a run of games before it drops off again, this has happened probably 3 or 4 times in his career here so I don't believe that he will maintain that level of form indefinately.
I think you can always make a case for many changes but in general teams tend to do well if they have a top keeper and a well suited goalscorer. We don't really have either and I'd like filling those positions to be our priorities.

After that I'd mostly be looking for squad depth. I honestly think that the defensive issues are systemic rather than about individuals. Klopp won't be changing his ways so I think there is a danger of change for changes sake. In terms of bulking up the squad i'd add a left back and a mobile, powerful midfielder.

He has improved... but he still does not dominate the box, and his distribution will always be poor.

I think its form over quality.

Reina at his best was a great attacking player as he was quick to release the ball to players in space. We totally miss this sort of threat. Something our team is crying out for imho.

There is no way he's going to become a match winner over a season. No way.

I don't see it. Would cost us a lot more and do nothing any better as far as I can see.

I think those should be priorities but I think we need a centre back with pace and who can dominate in the air as we are susceptible to goal on the break and at set pieces.
