I'm going to be honest, I'm ****ing fed up of Klopp. He's done **** all to address the defensive problems we have. He can't coach a team defensively, it really is that simple. Attacking wise, fine but we are dog**** at the back. Possibly the worst defensive team in the league and certainly one of the worst on the planet right now. Lovren, Matip, Moreno and Mignolet are absolute horse**** of footballers and should never be playing for us from the offset. I'm ****ing bored of listening to Klopp ranting on after games, ****ing sort it out. You're the manager, show some bollocks and drop them cunts. I'd smack every one of them players after that display, Mignolet and Lovren more so. Sick of this ****.

Just to cheer you up, I don't think we're fine attacking-wise.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostI'm going to be honest, I'm ****ing fed up of Klopp. He's done **** all to address the defensive problems we have. You're wrong about Moreno this season, he's been pretty solid at left back and I think Matip needs someone steadier beside him.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostI'm going to be honest, I'm ****ing fed up of Klopp. He's done **** all to address the defensive problems we have. Lovren and Mignolet need to be dropped to the reserves and never played again, they're not good enough for Liverpool FC at all.
I hope the upcoming windows are about defensive players, players with nous, players with leadership, players that communicate, players with strength. Was muß, das muß.

I really want to know what the deal was with the signings of a CB in the summer, who made the decision that it was VVD or no-one. Because I believe that if it was Klopp's decision that is something that could ultimately be his downfall. We're not a club who get rid of managers rashly but we can't afford to write off a season which is what this decision looks like it could have done. I know we all want our first choices and have complained about 2nd choices in the past. But for me this is one of the worst decisions we've made for a while and I doubt that anyone could seriously claim this was better than bringing in someone who isn't the long term answer but improves the side in the short term. We need CL football, we have it this year. Next year we might not which pushes us back a step and would make it more difficult to sign players next summer. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's really weird, he didn't even trust Klavan to come on yesterday and yet there's apparently only one CB out there that could do a job for us. I think it's all their fault, he seems to have a Wengeresque stubborn streak but there isn't enough hours in the day for him to do all our transfer business, scouting, assessing and doing training, tactics, other prep etc etc, are Edwards and co getting him enough options to choose from? I'm not convinced.
Signing cb's is tough, Bonucci was incredible at Juve now looks no better than Lovren at Milan but there's no way Van Dijk should have been the only option. Spurs had the best defence in the league and still went and got more help!

I think he went for Ox trying to make us more solid but also giving us more upfront, we just had too much to do.Originally posted by Chris View PostIt's really weird, he didn't even trust Klavan to come on yesterday and yet there's apparently only one CB out there that could do a job for us. Anyway, I'm not turning on Klopp, but I'm annoyed that he gave players too many chances. He'll get this season and next IMO, now he can't take anymore chances and he needs to sign proper defenders and GK's, which I think he will, but........he can't do anything until January so we'll need to persevere until then.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

i think the reality for the top 6 teams is that there's only a small handful of homegrown players with the skill and even fewer with the experience of playing at the highest level, so when one becomes available--especially if he's still young--you've gotta nab him if you can.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostI think he went for Ox trying to make us more solid but also giving us more upfront, we just had too much to do.

Klopp needs to start looking at player mentality.
I've banged on about it for years. It's awful, and this group of players need a fresh start. Let Can go if he wants. Let him be world class for Juventus, I don't care. He's not world class for us, and has had four years with us to push on. Get rid of Mignolet and Lovren.
Bring in a whole new spine. Keita is the start, but how about giving Ward a go. Identify a centre-back other than VVD who has aggressivity and a bit of pace. Get a striker who has natural striking movements.
We're very lucky to have Salah and Mane for the wings, Usually, our spine has been good, and the wide areas terrible. This time, it's the other way around.
Look at when Mourinho goes to a club. He starts building a strong spine. Year 1, and it's always players to strengthen the spine.
Klopp's trusted in these players for too long, but they've proven time and again that they can't consistently get us where we need to be.Last edited by Phoenix07; 23-10-17, 10:25 AM.
