Agree massively but on the flip side I think he shoulders a fair amount of the blame for our current ****ness. It appears from the outside looking in, he's allowed complacency to set in, and also allowed other people to influence the style of play to such an extent it doesn't resemble a klopp team anymore.

I think he's right to an extent when he says he's not bad and not as good as some think. He's a motivator first and foremost. He has managed to get every last drop out of these players. Made them appear better than they should have been. But when the effort and legs drop, so does our effectiveness. There's a reason we've lost so many finals, other managers are better tacticians. He's been out thought in the big moments. That's his achilles heel.

Now the players are running on empty and have heard the same talk for years, it's hard for klopp to influence things like he used to. I'm 100% sure if he left he would excel elsewhere. He's been brilliant for us and the city. But nothing lasts forever. I don't want him to leave on a bum note, with us a laughing stock.

He should be the one leading the charge into the rebuild no question. Has 100% my backing and he’s earned that right.

I absolutely don’t want another manager. But that also doesn’t mean that I can’t/don’t expect more from Klopp than he’s currently showing. The players do look more motivated and the intensity is up, but our press is still inadequate, the 433 is dysfunctional with the players available, he’s kept players what should have been moved on, his use of subs is questionable, and recruitment has been misdirected recently. I think these are fair criticisms and I expect him to sort them out, not leave.

The fact that we're talking about a rebuild a few years on from record breaking seasons says it all. It's pathetic. A decline should take more than half a season.

Some of it is on the Klopp due to a lack of ruthlessness but it's mostly on the owners IMO.

It would be nice to know who sanctioned the signings of nunez and gakpo. Does klopp have a say? Does he have too much say? He and his staff see these players everyday. They have loads of science stats to explore. Surely they could see the midfield was spent? If so, why did they spend over 100m on two attackers that we didn't really need. Look both players are good and may turn out as great signings. But in the short term, with funds limited, why was no midfield energy bought in?

Expecting more yes but expecting that we do better overnight and get back to what we were doing is asking too much and unrealistic imo. Loss of form and a drop off from the highs of an unprecedented season last year might just be the explanation, but who knows.

Huge disagree on that. Played 8 finals, won 4, lost 4.
2 of those defeats in the season he arrived, 1 on pens.

The other 2 are of course the CL finals vs Real Madrid.
1st one was decided by losing Salah and 2 goalkeeping aberrations.

2nd one we absolutely battered Madrid for 90 mins.
Klopp smashed Ancelotti in the tactics. We just couldn’t put the ball in the net, largely down to worldie of a goalkeeping performance.
                        .
                        .

I'm pretty much over it now.

I see yet another defeat and I merely shrug.
