Sadio is on his best form for years.

But it has coincided with Salah on his worst.

I am wondering if playing Mane centrally causes defenders to bunch up in front of where Salah likes to run, instead of dragging a few to the left or deeper. The space just isnt there for Mo. Perhaps playing him on tbe left ibstead so he can go down tbe outside would open teams up more. I think the inverted wingers works best with a false nine dropping deep.

I think our forward line is a balancing act, trying to get tbe best out of everybody at the same time is tough

I don’t think Salahs form is anything to do with manes movement. Mane comes deep to pick up the ball centrally as well at times even if not as much as Firmino would.

Salah has had 2 men doubling up on him in almost every game since his 45 plus goal season the first year he arrived and he’s always cutting in on his left. I think it’s these two factors that have meant it’s harder for him to play consistently well.

As I say I don't see why they wouldn’t announce it now if that were the case, saying he has signed a new contract isn't really a distraction while announcing he's leaving is a big distraction.

Being cynical, if we were going to spend **** all this summer on the grounds that we need to make back some money after the Covid losses and we've got the Annie Road to pay for, then announcing lots of new contracts would go a long way to pacifying the fans...

The owners did what they needed to do & you didn’t hear Jurgen complaining so have faith mate. I expect quick business in regards to contracts for Mo & Sadio & if not they’ll be on the market. I don’t think we’ll let them leave for nothing in 12 months time. One of them maybe but not both.

Absolutely no idea, that’s why I never said he’s a credible source, all I know is that he works for the club, rarely meets the players but is a sound guy, not prone to inventing things and has never claimed to be an ITK before, pinch of salt needed with this one
