Why? He's been doing it all season. Everyone's entitled to their opinion of course, but I just don't understand this kinda black and white / hero or villain way of thinking. It doesn't make any sense to me.

The way he was crying, surrounded by miserable-looking family, not sure if he hasn’t been pushed into this by his brother. There are quotes from Trent in 2019 about his brothers sacrificing their own dreams for him. Sounds like he is risking his own career (every chance he won’t play if things don’t click) to financially set up his brothers for the rest of their lives.

Life isn’t all black and white, it’s likely really quite simple. He wanted a new challenge (yes the finances of it wouldn’t hurt) but he was still sad about leaving his boyhood club.

I absolutely think this wouldnt happen if there was no signing on fees and agent fees. His brothers are absolutely coaxing him into doing it because they get a delicious amount of money for being leeches. Trent doesnt need the money, but throwing 40mill right at anyone is enought o sway them. And I doubt he ever really considered playing in spain for madrid. He's probably disgusted with them just as much as we are from the things that have happened over the years. He got screwed out of another champions league medal because of them. The money and his brothers, only reason.

Pretty sure that his chances of getting another CL medal have increased with a move to them
