Not sure if you have heard, but Tomasz and Pawel have a banner up in the car park at the old place.

Not sure what it means though.

Given my home office was technically Prague then Czech would’ve been better

    **** defender
Goals and assists have been on the slide for years
Can't be arsed getting back in position half the time.

    **** him

I don’t think he will make a third season at Madrid.

Can see him disappointing them and then no longer being flavour of the month

He’s coming in on a free, they will discard quickly if he isn’t performing consistently well.

I thought they ****ed us more for Arbeloa, tbh. I think he went for like less than £5m

    * He was. He has been pretty average the past few seasons compared to his first few years playing for Klopp.

I think Bradley is going to be a more effective player in a couple of years than Trent is now (some argue he already is).

Sad to see him leave on a free. But he can't defend.. Not reliably. Can't really play midfield either. Superb passer, but if he wants to go what can you do?

Nunez was valued at £1.5m according to LFC history, meaning the whole deal was worth £10m. To put that into 2 contexts - Djibril Cisse (who's son is on our books!) cost us £14.5m and Xabi Alonso £10.7m (and for shiggles, Luis Garcia £6m).

So, we didn't get much for Owen, but Rafa made it count (Cisse, of course, was a Houllier master stroke)

I'm not arsed about him leaving. For all the great passing there's the times that he leaves us short. And as for a fee - would have been nice to get one, but he's probably paid back his development costs by now. He did say that he'd achieved his ambitions here - including captaining the club (er.. the team.. a few times, but not the club actually) and anyone who values personal trinkets over another Champs League or even a World Cup for the fans needs their head testing and shouldn't be in our team. The fans pay his wages - as long as he's here the only option is a team trophy over personal baubles.

We've had tons of great full backs over the years, we'll just get another one.

I watched The Overlap earlier (still unemployed so what the hell) and one of the comments on YouTube was that Trent had turned down a 6yr deal the last time as he only wanted 4yrs, and by 2023 was already talking to Madrid. Sounds plausible as it will have been around the time his mate will have been talking to them as well.

I have to wonder how transparent or otherwise he has been with the club.

He is not a world class RB. His defending is proper ****e. However, he is a world class passer of the ball and handy with free kicks
