...even Clyn were all bargin buckets. I reckon Bradley will be a top player in a few years, so we just need a solid RB that can defend well and play a bit.

We're all of a certain age on here and yet still plenty are getting themselves worked up over him leaving. Jeez, there's people dying all over the planet, this lad is merely wanting to play in another league and win even more trophies. Perspective required surely. 20 year old me would have probably been riled and felt let down, 48 year old me says man the club is bigger than any player. What's it ****ing matter. Tbh I couldn't give two ****s about him at the moment mainly because I'm knackered but also because I just can't be arsed losing energy over it.

He's a talent that much is clear but his defending is questionable so perhaps losing him isn't such a bad thing.

Think he was asked whether he would prefer to win the Balon d'Or, another CL with us, the World Cup with England or being the captain of Liverpool FC.

His logic, if I recall right, was that he had already done two of those things with Liverpool.

He'll have more chance there for a number of reasons. Quite naive of him to getting drawn into that, but perhaps he already knew his time here was up?

We've had his best years, performance wise.
Seen him arse around for far too long. The odd good game, some great passing contributions still.
Was it a decline, or is he saving himself for his new club
This has obviously been planned out for quite a while, and it has stopped his club getting a transfer fee if he'd been more open about his intentions.

I think we've seen his best years. He was run ragged in Klopp's system, it will shorten his career. His next move after Madrid will be the to the USA
