Trent has been MotM in 3 out of last 4 England games.
      Modifying post.

Wonder how he fits in with Tuchel though....
        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Funnily enough attacking right backs have fared really well under Tuchel. The likes of Reece James. Hakimi etc have all had personal best seasons under TTT.

Must admit, Trent being the fastest player in our squad (once up to speed) does surprise me.

Can only assume we are sprinting less this season if 34.7kmh is being recorded as the fastest any of our players have achieved because most seasons we have a few guys tipping past 36kmh.

Might be that Slot's set up where we build more from the back and don't release over the top as often that is curtailing the numbers for the guys that usually top the pace charts for us.

It’s probably got something to do with the level of opposition we’ve faced so far, also. Probably less times where the opposition commits big numbers forward, and gives us the chance to counter attack.

He's going to Real Madrid isn't he?

He'll never welcomed as a legend at Anfield if he does - especially on a free.

Depends what he says as he leaves I guess. He's always been a bit camera shy, feels like we never really got to know him

I'd say it's a result of the system change but maybe more from defensive side i.e less chasing back.

                          He's definitely off.

In a way I can't blame him; he's won everything with us - football can be an incredibly short career why not take the opportunity to try a new culture, way of life at arguably the worlds biggest club etc?

It's one player; we've lost players before - Souness, Rush, Macca, Owen all moved on but we're still here... YNWA
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Absolutely don’t hold him wanting to move against him. Leaving on a free though, he can get ****ed for that.

                              From The Athletic:

The main actors in this strategy are president Florentino Perez, who always has the final say, director general Jose Angel Sanchez, who steps in to lead negotiations, and chief scout Juni Calafat, whose importance at the club has grown tremendously in the current era.

Calafat, together with his scouting team, is in charge of producing in-depth analyses after watching potential signings on TV and in the flesh. He is also responsible for establishing first contacts with players’ agents and their families, because the human side is a key element here, too.

If Calafat’s reports conclude with the label ‘FICHAR’ (‘Sign up’ in Spanish), the Madrid machinery is set in motion, with Sanchez at the head of things until any final decision (which, as detailed above, will be made by Perez).

During this process, targets are asked not to renew their contracts at their current club. Madrid also go to great lengths to convince players of the sporting development that will help them reach new levels of exposure and importance within the game if they come to the Spanish capital. Sometimes there is the element of support from players, too, as with Vinicius Jr’s messages to Mbappe and Bellingham, and the latter could now help in the case of his friend and England team-mate Alexander-Arnold.
Mainly waffle but the bit in bold is pretty much what is playing out in front of us, and has been for some time.
                              Oh I don't know.

It's more to do with the free and the reason fans don't give Macca the warm reception he'd like.
