Hope I'm wrong and he recovers, but if not he's another one we'll need to get shot of I'm afraid!

Oh I don't know. TAA this season is giving him a run for his money and is years younger.

Henderson is giving the falling off a cliff thing a good go too. He now plays like he is years older than Milner

Unfortunately, he needs to be nowhere near the pitch for the foreseeable future, not even as an 84th minute sub.

          Fabinho or Henderson or Milner?

Actually I take it back about Milner. He has looked lively and effective when subbed on.

It was a terrible challenge anyway, and we did about 3 similar ones in the second half. All accidental but all because we are always a yard off the pace.
VAR did review it according to TV at least. I think the issue was that the referee had given a yellow card, and while I think that it was probably a red, it's difficult to argue that the ref was clearly wrong to only give a yellow. So the fact the ref gave him a yellow probably did him a favour.

Ref probably saw a couple of mitigating factors: how contrite he was immediately after he'd done it... he knew it was badly timed... and he'd also only been on the pitch 2 mins so was still getting up to the speed of the game...

Neither is an excuse, by the way... just could explain the leniency. If he'd started the game, he'd deffo have been off IMHO.

I'd sell him in the summer tbh, probably top of my sell list in fact.

Ha. I could envisage someone like Sevilla or some other similar level La Liga side bidding £20m ish for him. Not beyond the realms imo.

Selling **** players is hard though. Anyone watching him this season wouldn't go near him.

                        Same for Ox, Gomez, etc.

Well yeah, not big haha. Couldn't see us getting any more than £25m for him, but I'd still sell at that price. Pays for about a quarter of Bellingham.

Me too, on current form at least, he has four months to turn this **** around. The feel isn't the most important part, we need to rip the squad apart I think due to registration rules and poor recruitment in recent years.
                            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

If we get rid of everyone who is injury prone or has been **** this season there'll only be Alisson left

I think that gormless grin after his horror tackle the other day will stay with me for a while. It was when he went from world class to liability distilled into a single moment. It was his Aspas short corner moment.

Basically our season so far is essentially one awkward, gormless grin.
