Thanjk you.

I don't think he's getting a lot of credit for the goal.
I know in an ideal world then the keeper should push it around the post but I think the accuracy and more importantly the power in Jota's shot made it a less than straightforward save. Jota made it a difficult shot to save.

A decent keeper would have saved that shot. A top flight keeper shouldn't be getting beat at his near post unless the shot is an absolute worldie into the top corner.
The build up to the goal was great. The through ball from Thiago was sublime, Mane's run off the ball to take the defender and create the space was fantastic.
Jota's decision to shoot? No doubt would have been more of a talking point had Ramsdale did what he should have done.
Yeah but the thing about Jota is he gets his shots off early, he hits them hard and he hits the target a lot, and often scores goals you'd think the keeper should save.
It was a crap effort from the keeper, but Jota has a knack for that sort of thing.

Never has the saying "you don't shoot, you don't score" been more accurate than for Diogo Jota. Luckily, Jota is very accurate too so that helps.
I like that Diaz also shoots more often than not. Anything can happen when he does, deflections, butterfingers, etc.
He's so clinical and even if his general game play isn't up to scratch or even if he's just playing poorly, he always seems to get a chance and that's because the runs he makes and his movement are simply world class and imo so underrated and under appreciated. He also gets moved around a bit, I don't think he works on the right and he can do a job central but his best position is out left imo. Unfortunately so is Mane and Diaz.
With Jota sometimes the when he receives the ball it doesn't really look under control. I wouldn't say he's the greatest passer of a ball either but every player has their strong and weak points. For me, he's very unpredictable and never stops moving. Much like Mane the more time he has to think, the worse the outcome but when the plays on pure instinct... there is usually an end product. A brilliant addition to our first team and squad, 2nd highest goal scorer in the league too and he is a about 400 or 500 mins less than our main stays. What more can you ask from the guy.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Great poacher but he does need to offer more in the build up play and needs to be much stronger at holding the ball up. Still developing, I reckon he can go up another level or two. Gets some goals this lad.
