True but different eras.
I could see Carragher struggling badly in a Klopp team and not being a regular at all in a Klopp team. Carragher's best years came under two managers that favoured defensive tactics in Ged and Rafa.
Not many slower or one paced CBs thrived in past Klopp teams without being very very good footballers and/or physical beasts to counter the lack of pace.
Hummels would be an example of a not lightning quick CB (though not slow during his first spell with Dortmund) in a Klopp team but he could pass and play make as well as most top class midfielders.
Subotic too to a degree with regards to not being a super fast CB under Klopp, but not slow either. He was a pretty good footballer though in his prime along with being dominant in the air and a bit of a physical beast.
