I thought that being a sub might be a good idea....... get a reaction out of him and perhaps his fresh legs might be good for the team to finish strongly

The three subs we made didn't work, turned the game in Arsenal's favour as we were much better between HT and those subs than we were after. Personally I would have liked to have kept Jones on, and probably just brought Nunez on for Diaz at that point.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Also I thought Endo had a good game. I know a few were worried about him.

For me Gravenberch is the one to worry about at the moment, I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but there is something not quite right with the midfield with him in it. Hopefully he is just taking a bit of time to settle and will come good.

Didn’t get into the game at all

He and Gakpo both failing to take the opportunity. Not even getting chances let alone converting. Same with Diaz.

Nunez absolutely brainless. He gets a pass if he's scoring goals but all he brings is bad decisions and offsides. **** him off.

Gravenberch has morphed into pogba recently….. he’ll turn it around

Today he brought nothing to be honest. Nor did Gakpo. Both are in poor form.

Bringing nothing is one thing, being the constant scapegoat is another. Not wanting to fall out with you fella

But the gormless cunts that are dissing him at every opportunity are complete and utter ******s. He plays in the team beacause Jurgen, Pep and all the staff and players rate him highly and want him in the team for everything he gives us….. who knows best, them or the cowardly sniping internet warriors?

He’s not the scapegoat today. He just didn’t do much when he came on. It felt like it was set up for him. I’m not interested in what people on Twitter say about him, real fans have no agenda I just want to discuss his games, he is an enigma. I’m certainly not calling anyone a gormless cunt, even supporters who endlessly defend him when he’s in a massive rut

I’d probably start him ahead of Gakpo tbh, or Diaz, but that is because they are both bringing very little either. I think Nunez can be more direct and troublesome. People can say what they want about Salah, but he’s always involved trying passes and getting shots away. He was the only forward (Elliot also) who looked involved. Goal, should have had assist for Trent and should have won pen, this for a guy who everyone thinks is murder.

When Nunez came on the game was in the balance and he just couldn’t get into it… maybe he should have gone up front?

I guess I have to go and post on the Gakpo thread now to prove I’ve not biased

Klopp played Karius for ages before finally binning him.

                        Just saying.

I’d say everyone is being very patient with him.particularly the live support.

If there’s an embargo on discussing how he plays that’s something different. It’s a valid discussion point for sure. What’s the option we just wait for however many games until he scores and then we get told ‘I told you so’.

I think it’s just the point of certain people only wanting to discuss the negatives after every game ( not just Nunez but Gravenberch or Endo etc ) instead of focusing on the positives, like how good Konate was.

Redknapp said on sky that he will have an opportunity when salah goes to afcon and he needs to step up. He is 100% right
