That's still 170-190 million, being conservative, and that's not touching on Diaz who seems to be willing to move. I think we can still fund a major striker signing to go along with a CB.

Darwin needs to leave and probably sooner, rather than later. In terms of accounting, anything over 21 million is profit, so maybe drop the price to 30-40 and just shift him early.

30 goals and assists when he's actually played. Just unfortunately misses loads more.

At least he's always available to play and until he got binned halfway through last season gave his all, unlike Jota who's become a total liability and equally as **** at scoring goals (and contributes nothing else during games)

The notion of just giving a player away for peanuts when they can still contribute and offer depth on the bench (especially if you're signing someone susceptible to injury like Isak) is daft IMO.

Was he even keen on the move in January though? I wouldn’t have left at Xmas knowing the League was there to be won if I was him . Agree about Jota though & I’ll be surprised if he’s still here if an offer comes in.
