The system is broken. The team is a mess.

Nunez is along way from being our biggest concern.

Even if we’d signed Haaland, we’d still have all of the same issues as a team.

Nunez has done well for a striker coming into team just as they’ve fallen off a cliff.

He does lack composure, his whole game is too scatty. He will get several chances every game as his movement is so good and his is so quick but he really has a lot to improve on. He is by no means the main cause of our issues but he puts those chances away and the game is done. He had a **** game.

Did he? One he tried to cut back on his favoured foot and the keeper got a leg to the ball (mo does that a lot) and the other he struck it well but the keeper read the play and got out to meet him quickly and made a good save. I wouldn't call that ****ting himself. Gomez on the other hand...

The hypocrisy on this ****ing site in regards to this guy is ****ing laughable. You all sat through YEARS of Mane, Salah and Firmino (and even Jota) missing LOADS of simple chances. Chances galore, spurned with **** finishing. Over and over again in every game, but because we were winning and our defence was rock solid it didnt matter.

Now our defence is ****e, our midfield is ****e and poor Nunez is copping it for not finishing every chance that comes his way? **** off.

You want a scapegoat, go look at wonder boy TAA and his pal Gomez who have been gifting the opposition a free goal every ****ing game.

Can't blame him for not scoring more. Its the midfields fault. Right now they're so rubbish they just pass the ball early to the forwards and just expect them to do something. Other teams the midfield is whats pulling teams apart and creating space and chances then giving the ball to the free forward to score.

In a horribly disjointed team in which he is still settling into, he has 6 goals and 1 assists from 726 minutes on the pitch. That is pretty close to an elite return.

He is certainly not one of the problems we have right now.

You can always criticise a striker for the chances they miss especially if the team isn't winning, but he's done well, yes he's a bit rough around the edges but I'm not worried about his ability. The only problem I have about him is how he fits into the system or how the system is changed to fit him in. But the midfield is the massive problem at the moment and that needs to be sorted first as it undermines everything else once that is sorted it's minor tweaks to the forward line.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It seems you're having one of your moments in threads again when you start personally abusing people because of a footballing opinion or observation, which I find strange and uncalled for. Anyways, what about the good things I have said about him? His movement, his pace, his drive. Or are we picking and choosing so you can have a pop?

It’s just not true thought is it? Nobody is saying we’re struggling because we bought Darwin Nunez, Darwin Nunez is the reason we lost etc etc. That’s would be scapegoating and it just isn’t happening.

His first one on one yesterday he stuttered and got caught in two minds, then ran out of time. ‘Shat himself’ is hyperbole but in the right ball park as an explanation at least. Think you should chill a bit tbh, not that you should care.

One of my moments. You're being a ****ing bellend, and I'll carry on telling you so until you stop.

You say he's awful and too emotional etc over and over and over again. In every thread you can, then say 1 or 2 things like his pace and movement are good and think that will get you amnesty? **** off

If the ball was rolling on the ground then yeah, he could've done a lot better. But that ball over the top was still bouncing and he's either got to hit it with his wrong foot and try lob the onrushing keeper (easy to monumentally **** up) or control it and get it back onto his right foot which he did. He didn't **** up the touch. I think in these situations keepers don't get any credit. Meslier did very well to get a foot to that ball as Darwin cut back inside.
