That was a hiding for Smith this morning. A systematic beating that ended in two brutal knock downs. Smith was game to have stand upright for as long as he did, but all that did was make him a human punch bag for a few extra rounds.
Beterbiev was an absolute machine. Crazy that the guy turns 39 in a week. His jab was immense.
Beterbiev vs Bivol is going to be an utterly fascinating match up.
The destructive dismantler of men vs the top tier technician/tactician.
Is a Kovalev vs Ward type clash of styles.

I know Wilder is generally **** but that was something else. Won't be surprised if that's the last time we see him after that post fight interview. Also wonder if we'd have seen this script a couple more times if he fought better opposition.

yeh like that cheers Doc!Originally posted by Doc_Piptorious View PostThough odds of 50-1 for both Wallin and Parker to be knocked down (note not beaten) in rounds 1 to 3 is an interesting one as I think Parker is a shot fighter these days and I am not sure whether the Joshua bout is totally legit or not.
Lot of gossip that Joshua and Wilder are going to both win in the same round to hype their own meeting down the line. Basically lot of fixity fix talk.

**** ton of bums on the card that are being hyped as "somebodies"
Bill will probably prove to be as predictable as it looks.
Only bout that would not be a shock if it went either way is the Dubois vs Miller bout.
Dubois lands hard earlier and he might grow a set and force the issue.
Miller rocks Dubois earlier and the urge to quit may raise it's head again.
In every other bout anyone other than the favourite winning would be a major shock despite the card being billed as being a competitive one.
Just for giggles I got the odds for an 8 fight accy (included the Inoue fight on Tuesday) and only left out the Miller/Dubois bout and the odds came to 0.82 -1
That's how nailed on the bouts are in the eyes of the bookies.
Maybe a slight chance of a shock or maybe just a shock flash knock down against the favourite in the Joshua, Wilder, Makhmudov and Sanchez fights if one wanted to do a knockdown accy rather than a to win accy, though again probably a safer beat to do a knockdown accy using the guys they are taking on.

Almost the perfect fight from Haney.
Prograis couldn't lay a glove on him, literally.
