They said they would consider players in the A squad, which includes this spinner they are raving about. They've raved about a lot of spinners since Warne though and they've all been ****e. Maybe this one will be different.

Their issue is they have completely unrealistic expectations. They're expecting another Warne which will clearly not happen. Not in my lifetinme, likely not in my kids either, possibly never.

They need to find their best spinner, pick him, and keep some faith in him whilst he gets used to test cricket anmd refines his skills.

Same with Haddin. Great batsman, **** keeper. But they're so obsessed with Gilly they can't move on from the runs he creates and face the runs he costs.

It's been long enough since their golden generation retired that they should have moved past the obsession with them.

Get the fundamentals right. Move on and develop.

Stop looking for carbon copies of once in a lifetime players, it aint going to happen.
