Ah ok, so what's your PB for 5km then?

I think you'd be best to vary your runs. Don't just stick to 5kms. I'd recommend also throwing in some 6-7km runs too at a slower pace. You can still do the 5km ones too, but the extra variety will really help your fitness. When you do your 5km runs they'll seem much shorter too.

    Anyway, good luck with it

To be fair Alex, I sound like a whining wheezing death machine when I'm running, you should aspire to more

You're not just stalking her and running after her are you?

No, she runs behind me, something about slip streams and blocking the wind

You should be running behind her.

I'm old enough to be her dad! Plus her boyfriend is also a counter terrorist officer. And a Red

                  Anyhow, back on topic

My left heel hurts, on the sole of my foot and feels more bone pain than muscle pain. Only hurts when I stand on it. I'm running in Asics Lahar 4 trail shoes but mostly on concrete/tarmac. Any ideas? Aids, the bad kind, has been ruled out

Just drop a couple of Silent but deadlies and she will soon get out of your slipstream

                        Well done Norbs

I really want to get back into running but struggling to find the motivation for it all.

You can have the run around tomorrow if you want.
