He's such a talent. Some of his first touches to get him out of trouble are sublime.

He's got so much confidence for a young bloke. He should move in & spend some time with Downing to help him out in that dept.Originally posted by Lee View PostThat little move yesterday where he popped the ball over that Newcastle players head was fantastic.
Not sure he's being played in his best position though.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

That was shocking from him
Seeing us play Suso week in week out is really not good at the moment, it's great he's getting game time but he shouldn't be an automatic starter at his age for us and needs rest and actually being played in the right position.
Hopefully with the return of Lucas we'll see a better midfield 3 with Gerrard pushed further forwards with Suso being used to come into the midfield

Completely agree with all of that.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostThat was shocking from him

I really think that it's time Gerrard plays further forward. We're asking too much from Suso to be playing week in, week out in a position which isn't his strongest. Even more difficult for him given how we're not getting results at the moment.

wow that is really full of goals and assists isn't it! for a start you can ditch suso and borini....and get in a proper strikerOriginally posted by cream View PostSuso is playing in the front three because of our lack of real quality options. Our future midfield should be Suso - Lucas - Allen, front three should be Sterling - Suarez - Borini.

tbh I am sticking Gerrard in up in the front 3 as there isn't anyone else at present and he can finish but he's 32 now and isn't the player he once was, ideally we'd see some more firepower coming into the side early January and if they're the right players he either raises his game to the level where he has to be in the side or he becomes an impact player for us.
Suso, Sterling etc... are the future and we need to make sure we're bringing them through in the correct manner.

They're both very, very young - Fabregas took time to find his feet over here as does as a certain Portugese show pony that currently plays for Madrid.Originally posted by Bender View Postwow that is really full of goals and assists isn't it! for a start you can ditch suso and borini....and get in a proper striker
In no way should they be dismissed as not being up to it based on 10 league games in their first season in the PL.

I think the key point here is that we have a number of creative players but really only Suarez who is, at this stage, a goal threat. Not sure that playing Sterling/Suso etc is bad for them or the team per se - the problem is that in doing so we put out and XI which only has one goal threat and isn't Graham era Arsenal in defence.Originally posted by rcasemore View Posttbh I am sticking Gerrard in up in the front 3 as there isn't anyone else at present and he can finish but he's 32 now and isn't the player he once was, ideally we'd see some more firepower coming into the side early January and if they're the right players he either raises his game to the level where he has to be in the side or he becomes an impact player for us.
