We don't know the team dynamic in the dressing room. We don't know the players. Maybe he's a cock who thinks its funny to hide people's car keys, who knows.

There's a lot of worrying going on and it's really not worth it, especially in July.

I find it exciting. Not overly but a little all the same.

I would be ok with a loan move for Pepe. He won't be playing against us, will be reunited with Rafa for a time, and is still our player at the end of the day. Not the most awful outgoing transfer that could've ever happened. We'll see what happens in terms of backup. Is it human nature to complain and worry all the time? Haha

Don't see the sense in this, his value is only going to go down as his contract goes long, if we are going to loan him, we might aswell sell.

He's got three years remaining so its probably not an issue. If he's not garateed starts with us then his value could suffer, as opposed to him starting for Napoli and playing in the CL.

Na don't buy that, we should sell and reinvest in the first team, if he goes on loan for a season he will never be our first choice again.

Maybe you don't buy it but it is probably true.

If he is supposed to be valdes's replacement then he's got a year to wait now. He is unlikely to want to sign for someone else in the meantime.

How is it a good thing to let Reina go out on loan? were gaining nothing from it and it means Jones will now deputise in his absence. So we've gone from Reina + Mignolet to Mignolet + Jones, Napoli have gained a world class keeper for virtually nothing, all to save a few quid from the wage bill. I wouldn't mind if we got 8-10 million for him, a decent fee could go towards signing other targets, but we've weakened the team for no apparent reason. ****ing infuriates me the incompetence of our club sometimes.

We might not be able to sell him for that or he might not want to sign for someone else. We just don't know. He gets paid £4m a quid a year so it's not an insignificant sum, it could be enough to pay the wages of a top class player. And we might be getting some money in terms of a loan fee. Again, we don't know. It might be a cost neutral way of deferring a move to Barca for a year due to valdes staying for another season. We don't know. But don't let not knowing stop you from foaming at the mouth and shouting incompetence.

I think that boat has sailed, someone younger and better will come along.

What if Valdes renews his contract. Then were royally ****ed aren't we.

For me this shows that when it comes to moving players on we are still a bunch of limpdick amateurs.

Letting a Spanish international go out on loan for a season hoping barca come calling next season. Who else does that.

If I was Reina I'd be quietly nervous that Valdes might realise that life in Barcelona is pretty great and Reina's left twisting in the wind.

Who else has a Spanish international earning £4m a year who is likely second choice in their only position? Maybe there is someone but I bet they have a lot more money and prestige than we do at the moment. Whether he is wanted on the pitch is another matter and one fit Rodgers but I don't think it is rational to look at a situation we don't understand and automatically assume incompetence is the explanation.

If that happens then I assume he will sign for someone else. Napoli maybe. It if SM hasn't done well he might come back.
