You cannot measure his performance on today's match. He looked little bit better than usual (few decent touches, once nice half chance etc.) until we lost Adam and then things went downhill.

And yet we all laugh at Torres. At least he'd proven himself.

I've reserved judgement on Carroll and been pretty fair on him so far, but he's a ****ing pub player. Pure Sunday league stuff. Everyone was **** today but bar the one game against City, he's been a pub player.

Its such a shame, because I really really want him to do well, he seems to have everything in his locker to be a good number nine, strength (when he's not diving) power, we've seen how well he can strike a ball, we've seen with his disallowed goal at Sunderland he does have good technical ability in his locker, and of course, his strength in the air is something that should come naturally to him, there just seems to be something not quite there, his first touch seems heavy on several occasions, but very decent on others, I hope it clicks eventually and he turns into the player he was in the first half of the season for Newcastle, where he was unplayable. We saw it first hand.

If he was Danish we wouldnt of bought him for 35mil. We really do not need him.

What about Keane? Only good thing he ever did was that amazing Arsenal goal, dunno whether it was worth 20m though! LoL

How many chances has the team created for him this season?

It is very easy to Carroll bash and he hasn't been very good so far but we just aren't playing to his strengths.

Can't be reiterated enough. At Newcastle he regularly had quality crosses into the boxes, especially around October/November/December time, I was watching all the Newcastle games, he just didn't stop scoring headers and all sorts. Was quality to watch.
