Let's just pray he does well against Brighton eh.
Kenny is all about the results and he's a proven winner and he'll not hesitate to drop anybody he thinks is not producing at the level he expects including Carroll and/or anybody else.

Let's hope for Carroll's sake that happens sooner rather than later.

How big a loss would you accept?

I think we'd only get about £15m for him. It will be a big loss but the lad is **** on the floor, **** in the air and is never in the right position. Play gerrard behind Suarez with bellamy on the wing.

I wouldn't any cause I would have never spent Torres money on him but again Kenny sees in him something we don't and let's give him the benefit of the doubt until May.

I don't see us getting that, but if we did, I would take it.

He's honestly the english version of Samaras. Everything he does, his movement, his heading, his shooting, his slackness to close people down, exactly the same player and skill level. If we wouldnt go for that player why exactly should we have to defend Carroll for his performances? Luis Garcia, bless his little heart, got an absolute torrent of abuse on these forums despite creating goals and scoring them. On this simple fact we should be slating Carroll instantly for his poor performances.

We won't sell him, not a chance.

I've said it before, but for the type of player we were allegedly looking for (British, industrious, handful of a target man), we would have been better going for Kevin Davies, and he would have been a fraction of the price.

He's so unbelievably slow. I swear Biscan was quicker both across the ground and speed of thought.

His supposed strength, i.e. aerial ability, doesn't appear to be very strong, which doesn't bode well. He's not fast and not the most skillful, but I thought he'd ruffle defenders a bit more than he's managed to so far.

He does seem to go to ground easily. He had a couple of good tackles today though.

in his defence we dont provide enough service into the box but whatever does come his way he doesnt do anything with. his movement is unbelievably bad and he reminds me of a decent sunday league player. his touch is pretty poor too and for a big lad he's **** in the air.

theres nothing in his locker to suggest that he's worth 35m. being realistic the english player tax probably accounts for at least 20m of that fee.

he's only 22 but its not a good start for andy carroll. he needs to stay out of the bars and put a few more hours on the training ground otherwise he'll end up on loan at stoke in 12 months time.

I was delighted with his effort today, chasing back in a totally foreign position. He wasn't being a cunt and sarcastically appaulding the officials. If Kenny had pulled him when we went down to ten, it would killed any confidence he had. Hopefully he'll start against Brighton.
