Whenever he joined us I read so many interviews from people who worked with him saying he’s an extremely hard worker and gives everything at all times. It was even reaffirmed in the superb Andy Carroll story.

I think that is because Carroll has not looked a good player for us and is also known to at least previously been very fond of drink.

What about the worst trainer at Liverpool? Reina's choice may or may not be surprising, but it's definitely a little depressing:

This worst trainer thing has little meaning, Everyone else could be great trainers and Carroll just a good trainer, that would still make him the worst.

Also IIRC didn't people say Didi Hamann was an awful trainer? That was never a problem, it's not how well you train, it's how well you play, the people making an issue of this probably don't like Carroll anyway and are using this as another stick to beat him with.
