Thanjk you.

He should be creating some of his own for that price though. Really trying to reserve judgement still but we really lack flair and spunking that amount in someone without it compounds the situation.
he's been **** 99% of the time he has played for us ...he doesn't seem to care or want to play for us tbh i think he misses being in geordie land
So what are our options?
1) Play him in hopes that he'll eventually click
2) Send him to the bench and let him rotten there thinking that will motivate him to play better
3) Sell him at 1/3 of value we paid for him.

He can't help the fee. Slating him over that is pointless.
He's never been a striker that creates something out of nothing and that hasn't changes just cause we didn't to spunk a lot of money on him.
As I said in the match thread. I don't understand the criticism of him today. He fed on scraps then put a decent shift in in midfield. Kuyt would have been praised for the same performance.
Many other places to be looking to unload blame today without looking at Carroll.
I have no idea Mostar. I advocated him playing at Stoke in line with option 1. But we need points badly, and I feel he's a hindrance. I think we need to wait for at least another 18 months before we do something as drastic as 3. 2 is the only option, and bring him on when we are comfortable.

I thought he started very poorly, but he get progressively better the less players we had on the field.

Same here.
I'm far from being his biggest fan but today I thought he initially looked little bit better than in first few games until we were left with 10 men.
Also he created the goal scoring chance for Suarez in first half, perhaps there was a penatly on him in the second half and he could have scored the header just before 90 minutes.

Sounds like how the whole team played in a way. The formation just didn't work. We were out classed in midfield & that always leave your centre forwards looking poor.
I think we could have spent the money better yeah sure. There's no point crying over that though is there? We can't change that, so have to make do with what we have.
He was nowhere near the worst player on the pitch today, but its telling that his best contribution were two cracking tackles down the left after we went down to ten.
Can't think of a worse big name attacking signing we've made.
Heskey - 20 odd goals in his first full season, we ****ed about with him on the left, he lost confidence, but Thierry Henry said he was amazing, so he's better than Carroll
Collymore - amazing player but complete mentalist
Nigel Clough - Turd, but he might be worse
Dean Saunders - did ok in a terrible side. Never great, no better than average.
Robbie Keane - baffling signing, what was he bought for? Better player than Carroll with a history of goal scoring at EPL and international level.

The bottom line is that we are stuck with him and we have to endure and play him in hopes that he'll regain the form he had while he was with Newcastle which ultimately caused us to splash Torres funds on him.
He needs time and support and anybody thinking that he'll wake up one morning and start banging goal after goal is mistaken.
That may happen but gradually and over time as he confidence hopefully starts to build.
What he needs now is to play against Brighton on Wednesday and have a very good game.
