Haven't had a strong game as he did against Wolves but still found himself in some good goal scoring opportunities.

The key imo is his work rate.

If he keeps it high he'll be alright.

Agree with both the above. A great goal and I posted in the match thread something along the lines of 'legendary status secured'. Perhaps not really the case yet but this could really help the lad get some confidence. Doubly glad the goal was not with his head

Considering all the much proclaimed attributes of 'Future England Captain' Jones, I believe he is vulnerable aerially as demonstrated in the Stoke game, a confident Carroll could annihilate him.
