People need to stop trying to find excuses for him by blaming Kenny,the system, players that can't cross etc and look at it as it really is.

This lad has been given the opertunity of a lifetime to perform at the very highest level and he has blown it.He doesn't seem to have the desire to succeed at Liverpool.It's almost like well I didn't want to come here in the first place so couldn't give a **** either way.

He is a prime example of someone,who comes into alot of money and they just think they are billy big bollox.

I wonder if he is actually related to that bloke who won £15m on the lottery and blew the whole lot swanning around thinking he was something,wasn't his name Carroll as well?

I don't think he has so much squandered his chance as been proved that he was hopelessly out of his depth dealing with the expectation put on him by the fee and being a Liverpool player.

He was never that good in the first place. Someone hit the nail on the head earlier on - an average striker who hit his hot spell. Luckily for him, we were ripe to be mugged and he cashed in with a massive salary and signing on fee. There are plenty of other average strikers who would have performed to the exact same level as Andy Carroll.

My biggest concern with Carroll is his mentality, he seems fragile to me and rather than getting his head down and working he appears on the pitch to blame everyone but himself when things aren't going right.

I think he has potential but he needs to buckle down and make a real effort between now and the end of the season as otherwise I could see us cutting our losses with him

Someone told me something pretty interesting about our dressing room dynamic the other day and it's supposed to be a huge issue in the problems that Carroll is having.

That was it. He was texting his mate saying that there were a couple in the dressing room 'giving it the big I Am' and generally behaving like they ran the place and it was making him and uncomfortable and he was finding it hard to settle.
