I'm not making any excuses, just commenting on things that are happening as games go by. Your sole contribution is "he is atrocious" 'no technical ability' eg EXACTLY the same points, over and over again.

You think he's ****. We get it.

Well I disagree. But if you don't like my posts, you're welcome to ignore them.

Saying the same thing over and over again is just boring. Not a queston of 'like'.

Well it actually is. As I said, feel free to ignore it.

I think you are both actually right.

He could have scored quite more goals than what he did (missed a penalty kick, hit the bar like 3 times, some incredible saves made him miss more than few times etc.) but at the same time I just do not think he fits our style of play and his game is missing imo too many parts that will make him clinical finisher that we really need.

I can see him as good squad player but I just cannot see Carroll as a regular starter.

It's an odd case. His confidence must be absolutely shot to pieces. At one stage last night he was just running in a straight line with the ball and he tripped himself up and gave away possession. Literally, just running. It was mind boggling. My flat mate was pissing himself. His touch is woeful. His work rate seems to have dropped as well - I remember Kenny screaming at him to cut out the pass and that was fairly early in the first half. He was just trotting around as though it was a forgone conclusion that he wouldn't get there.

I've no idea what is going on behind closed doors, but there must be something. As the match of day guys said, he doesn't look fit! Pretty worrying.

To be honest I thought he did alright last night (in the first half at least). The turn and shot early on wasn't the mark of a man with low confidence, IIRC he also had a couple of headers from crosses that went just wide in the first half too. The second half he was totally anonymous, but to be fair that wasn't his fault, we showed little attacking intention and he was left isolated.

I still think he's not fully fit or has fitness issues that need sorting, but I think he's generally improved recently.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Not great last night by any means........really hoped that chance he had early in the game would have went in, or that header from Kelly's cross (not an easy one by any means), and we could have seen a different Carroll. But, even with his limited touch and speed, he was been given no chance at all in the second half with various hoofs expecting him to somehow take the ball down on the halfway line with most of the City defence on top of him, and a mile between him and any support.
Onto the Stoke game for Andy......there's still time for him to make a mark while Luis is out.

Just seen his marauding run down the left wing again on lfcTV Was close to falling over the ball. Poor fella, he's not blessed with technique on the ball.

I am not sure if he'd be a good choice to start that game.

With Huth, Shawcross and Woodgate in their defence I'm concerned that we would be playing to their advantage as all 3 are good in the air.

Yeah but we dont play to him in the air. So really, it'd just confuse the ****ing **** out of their defenders

                              Would you believe this.

He sent me a private message stating that "He doesn't appreciate the "confrontational tone" and if I don't like what he says that I can unfollow him"

                              What an arogant prick

For me AC does nothing wrong in that clip, for the split second that Gerrard breaks into space and recieves the ball AC has a yard of space between him and the two nearest defenders, as they come towards the goal, he holds back a little and drifts sideways, if Gerrard does decide to look up and pass AC is ready to recieve a pass, but as has been stated, Stevie had no intention of passing, one thing on his mind.
