    Personally I'm not THAT worried, he's starting to get in the right positions and is getting chances, he'll start putting them away soon.
    Good post.
    I feel desperately sorry for him, he has done well in patches in all the last 4 or 5 games he's started but last night we didn't attempt an attack or get anyone within 30 yards of him for the last 60 minutes of the game.
    He just needs to keep going, keep getting into goalscoring positions and one of these days he'll scuff one in and be off and running.
    The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

        “@JenChang88: Source said though that Blackburn will sell Hoilett if asking price is met. Firm interest from LFC & Spurs, but Stoke after someone else.”

        So Blackburn prefer to keep him unless someone meets their price

        what a ****ing tool

        This is what he said when I told him to watch Gerrard's goal again as he was critisizing Carroll during that play.

        @JenChang88
        Obviously, Carroll's young & will still develop, but I think his upside isn't as great as some believe due to lack of those innate instincts

        @JenChang88
        Gerrard's goal vs. Newcastle actually a good example. As he drives into box, looks to square it. Carroll's in position but makes an odd run.

        @JenChang88
        However, Carroll veers at an angle away from goal instead of moving into space & attacking 6-yd box, leaving Gerrard no option but to shoot
        Me
        @JenChang88 It doesn't seem you watched that game or clip of Gerrard's goal. He never looked to pass. Went straight for the goal #lookagain
        @JenChang88
        Actually think it's you that need to watch it again, clearly looks up to his left for the square pass before pushing on to shoot
        Me
        @JenChang88 He never looked period & especially not to his left as he'd be looking at the stands coz he entered the box from the left side
        JenChang88
        Sorry, meant he looked to left of the pitch, his right. If he'd been trying to score initially he wouldn't have taken that angle narrowed down his own angle, wouldn't do that unless you were looking to square the pass.in my opinion
        Me
        @JenChang88 See the video & pay attention to replay. Stevie never looked to pass. Scoring was only thing on his mind http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xnm...stic_lifestyle
        He still hasn't replied to that..

        The problem is we are still trying to define ourselves as a team in an attacking sense. It's made his fitting in/adapting twice as hard. I think we have to make use of him as a plan B and hope that he can get lucky coming on when the opposition is tiring.
        I agree with that. Imo his game is lacking too many things to make him superb striker and I don't think time will change anything.

            Top players don't need to shift their head in obvious fashion to the right to look right, they can do it with their eyes.

                      I dont get where he wants Carroll to run on that one

                        His reasoning shows that first he never played football and second that he needs vision help.

                        He's terrible.

                          Very much a case of "what might've been" for big Andy.

                          Even going back to the opening day of the season, with a wrongly disallowed goal against Sunderland. Add to that the several occasions where he's hit the bar/post or had a near-certain goal saved by a worldie save. Hit the bar vs Newcastle and then last night, in on goal, decent effort, but a good save by Hart.

                          Fine margins and all, but he could so easily be on about 7 or 8 goals so far this season.

                          All-round play could improve though and i agree about the aggression - he needs to have more of it for a player with his physical attributes. I put a lot of that down to confidence, inexperience and age, though.

                              And a lack of technical ability.
