Or maybe they're teams who play a style of football different to ours & will play to his strengths instead of trying to shoehorn in a player not suited to their system?

I don't think he will. He had a hot few months in the premiership but so have many bang average strikers.

We panic bough, If only they had accepted the 30m from spurs

Carroll can still be a success here. It's a question of using him properly and giving him the kind of coaching and direction that he needs. I feel that Dalglish is failing to utilize both Suarez and Carroll to the best of their abilities.

This better be directed towards the Geordie fans and not the manager who has backed him.

Fairly convinced Carroll would score bucketloads at someone like Spurs as they've got actual wingers who put in dangerous looking crosses.

He's Newcastle through and through, he comes here with huge pressure, doesn't get a regular starting spot and his old team have a semi-miraculous turnaround and go above us. The move has been a disaster for everyone but Newcastle.

The problem here may be that Carroll and Suarez just don't fit together, they each thrive on different attacking set ups and in trying to accommodate both of them we're not going to get the best out of either.

If we were to move Carroll on and he did come good then best of luck to him, I'd rather see him be successful elsewhere than unsuccessful here.

I thought we were buying a specialist striker. You'd imagine we'd yet to play to his strengths rather than trying to turn him in to something he's not. Weirdest signing ever

Ok, you do realise different teams not only play in a different manner but also have teams set up differently against them. Playing for Villa is quite different to playing for Liverpool.

I would be very unhappy if we adopted a style of play that suited Carroll, especially as it would be highly unsuited to our better players.

I'm sure there is a lovely breakdown of how we are paying this 35 million, that will make everyone feel much better..
                              Just like the Aquilani saga.

I reckon with clauses, wages, add ons, appearances etc, we've probably not paid out that much..

                              Or have we?

lump sum up front I believe. We received the Torres money the same way.
