That to me is the minimum we should be expecting from Carroll

Thought his effort and all round play was good today

I've felt for sometime hes been VERY VERY slowly improving

A lot of things came together for him today

Massive cliche but he needs a couple of tap-ins. It'd be interesting to see him with his (pony) tail up and playing with a bit of swagger and belief.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Ditto all other posts about today.
I thought his touch and hold up play was improved as well (but I thought he showed glimpses of this against Bolton also)

Absolutely but he had no service today except great cross by Stevie in the first half and couple by Enrique towards the end of the game.

Looked better and he really attacked defenders on the ground and in the air.

            Same here.

First touch on the few ocassions looked very good and hold up play was an improvement.

Was interesting to hear Kennys comments about him as well

I think we'll be seeing him here next season

I'm sure most people would be absolutely fine with that, but we need a top quality striker to come in to take the pressure off when he's not playing well.

                    It was more evident today.

I'm still reserved about him, but at least he did some of the basics today which for me anyway, he wasn't doing in the past.

I said during my time on This is Anfield that we may have to do a 'Mascherano' on him in terms of Barcelona benching him most of the time for the first 6 months to really hone his skills so that he could become a Barcelona player.

If he can get himself going for more games during the season, then great. If he falls back into his shell, then the questions will be asked.

We have him, his name is Bellamy and he's ace.

We've had Bellamy this season, and we've still been woefully short of goals.

Bellamy is class and I hope he stays with us a long, long time. But he's said himself he can't play 2 games in a week, and we've been forced to play him in 3 this week. And he's not getting any younger.

Let's not allow a couple of awesome performances to mask the flaws that have become apparant over the course of the past 4 months.

We need a goalscorer whether Carroll goes or stays

Dalglish asked in post-match presser what words he had for Andy Carroll's performance. "Well done Andy" replied the #LFC manager.

He's winning headers, which is a start.
