As has been said before, way too early to judge the summer signings, I think Allen and Borini will be decent players for us.

I don't. Infact if he gets this summers transfer window right I cannot see them being more than bit part players at best.

If Newcastle come in with an £8-10m bid then take it and run .

I expect him to end up there.

Fans love him, he wants to go back and they need more options upfront.

That said, anything around 10m would be probably the best we can expect in the given circumstances.

Hence the Sissoko suggestion, if we'd have gotten him in in january we'd be good in midfield and attack and only need to address the defence.

There are 2 players NUFC will not swap for Carroll or sell next summer and those are Sissoko and Cabaye.

Arfa (and possibly Tiote) could be available but either way I cannot see that being a straight swap though.

Tiote is awful. Utterly utterly terrible. Spent all season kicking people and giving the ball away, Newcastle fans at least would jump at a straight swap for Carroll right now, and I suspect the management would too. I wouldn't.

Ben Arfa I would take, although his fitness record lately is worrying.

I dont mind him but it'd be too painful after watching this team attack and the movement of Sturridge, Suarez, Coutinho etc. Take the cash and make plan A even better.
