Why is this the first I have heard of the Carragher thing?
    *Except Michael, who died.

Hahah. Carlos Tevez refusing to play for Man City v German team Bayern Munich is turned in to a dig at Jamie Carragher. What a prick.

Things like this shows how important it is that the manager is the boss. Man U wouldn't won all the titles if Fergie wasn't the boss.

If a player refuse to play then he must be kicked out as soon as possible. I doesn't really matter if he refuse to play in a certain position or refuse to play at all.

If he don't do what the manager tells him to do then the manager don't have any other choice than to kick him out if he want to keep his job.

If he don't do it then he will lose the dressing room and his time at the club is over.

            Is correct.

People should realise that the more they respond to it, the more it's going to go on.

Arn - you've been asked before to not constantly go on and on about the same two/three subjects - Carragher, Gerrard and Rafa. It's so repetitive and boring, and people are rightly sick of it. So please for the sake of peace in the forum, find something else to discuss!

City or us aren't the first club with this problem and won't be the last.

Mourinho had big problems with Lampard and Terry. Fergie had big problems with Keane and Beckham. Roma have big problems with Totti. Inter have big problems with Cambiasso and Stankovic. Real had a big problem with Raul. Barcelona had a big problem with Ronaldinho. The list could be much longer but you understand my point.

Either the manager or the player(s) leaves. Carra should have been kicked out.

I don't care if he is a local lad or not. That he refused to play right back isn't a secret. You simply don't refuse to do what the manager tells you to do, you simply don't. Local lad or not.

I'm going to let you off that one as we posted at the same time

if i was mancini, in the dressing room after the game, i'd have said "no problem carlos, you need to meet me and the chairman on thursday morning to come to an arrangement. But you are not part of the team until then - because you don't want to be"

I'd have then asked him for his tracksuit top - because that is "Man City" teamwear. Then i'd get the logistics guy, took tevez's passport and given it to him. Tear up his flight ticket there and then in front of him. Then get security to fock him out of the stadium and let the cnut find his own way home.....

I only pointed out that we had the same problem. People call Tevez a c*nt because he refused to play but at the same time when Carra did the same thing then he isn't a c*nt. Both of them did the same thing. They refused to play.

If Suarez would refuse to play like Carra did. Should he then be kicked out or not?

If the answer is yes then you agree with me that Carra should have been kicked out.

We can't have different rules because a player is a local lad.

The manager must be the boss. We now have a manager that is the boss. A man that Carra and Gerrard can't win a battle against.

Why not read Reece's post before carrying on? This thread is about Tevez.

Go and talk bollocks somewhere else.

Yes we get it! You've made your point and I asked nicely so please now move on and don't make this another thread for you to have a go at Carragher and Gerrard

This a big problem for any manager at a big club now. Player power vs manager power.

He can't only be a tactical genius or/and a good man to man manager. He must be able to keep all the big egos happy. The board must back the manager 100% in a case like this or the player win.

Football have changed a lot the last 25 years. If a very expensive player do what Tevez did then the financial side also enters the picture. It didn't do that 25 years ago. Now it could be cheaper to sack the manager than to sell the player on the cheap. Then the player win.

If the player is a player like Carra, Totti or Terry and he challenge the manager then the manager have another problem. The player is bigger than him. What would the reaction in the dressing room and the supporters be if he sacked the player? Would he have a chance to keep his job? The financial side then isn't important in this case.
