Enrique showed more last season than downing, Carroll, Henderson and Adam and you've been defending those. He had a pretty dismal run, but at least we know he's capable of playing well for us

Adam had a fair few assists. He was worth the money we paid and we should get most of it back when he moves on. Adam is a good player yet is never going to fit in the current system.

Enrique did start well, but I think his running up and down the flank early doors hid what we all saw later, that he's as thick as ****. It made him appear to be better than he was. He's awful in the final third, his lack of brain power rears its ugly head game after game. The most annoying thing with Enrique? the fact he uses his fat arse to try and block players to shepherd the ball out of play ALL the time. Just play the ****ing ball man not the player. And breathe.

fair enough. I do think he has potential though. He's super quick, strong, very tough to beat 1 on 1. He can be a bit of a headless chicken in attack but he's a decent dribbler and has decent technique. I don't think he's beyond help, put it that way. He could probably do with some stiff competition

He's been poor but really?

Rogers is using Downing to get Enrique to lift his game. One of the first team without a lot of pressure on his starting place and somewhere were not strengthening in the market
