Counted at least 5 killer crosses yesterday, not sure what others expect of him tbh. Some of his passing is sloppy though, and ffs play him on the left or not at all, as Lee says.

He could deliver a really good return for a striker willing to attack the 6yd box...

If hazzard a guess that if you could swap Downing and Young's clubs then Downing would be getting applause while we scratched our heads about how to get the best from Young. It's not the player's failing but the squad in general

We do know that that won't happen. Maxi is so deep into the freezer that the North Pole looks like Sahara. He probably played his last game for us in the league from the start.

He is a finished chapter IMO.

I don't think so, I think Downing is playing exactly how he has for every other team he has played for.
