Everytime we are in for some player ... you can set you clock by it .. so is such and such and now there is a bidding war ... What I take issue with is posters coming in here and then following on from that .. with .. well if that cunt only wants the money hes not good enough for us .. when chances are its all bollix utter utter bollix ...

Personally i think he knows what he will be getting into with Rodgers ... good boss's in any field are extremely rare and you cannot underestimate just how powerful a pull is when you know your boss rates you ... thats ****ing money in the bank

Spurs to me always seem to be taking 2 steps forward 3 back, they are in danger of losing some of there key players .. a new manager coming in .. at least with Buck he has an extremely clear identity as a manager in terms of style of play etc ...

Anyways I take your point .. these forums are for speculation .. once the speculation does not lead to character assasinations and judgements
    No problems.
As I`ve said earlier I hope he signs as well, but at the right terms.

Some tend to see other opinions as an attack on them, but whats the point in engaging in an agrument then?

That's ridiculous. You seem to have developed a talent for hyperbolic footy posts these days in general, but this one goes way beyond. Wtf dude? You'd rather we were paying £20m for the likes of Downing than possibly (and the emphasis is on possibly) missing out on one good, but no better than that, signing, for reasons we don't even know about? Really? Perspective?

We cant have it both ways, Id rather the club offer the money they think is acceptable, and let the player decide. There is no point in getting into a bidding war, otherwise we will have another Joe Cole or Aquilani situation on our hands.
Ah, sanity. thank **** for that

Text to my mate who is a baggage handler at JLA, to get the latest news:

He answered: "****ing back is still killing me so I need to go sick"

Its all speculative at the moment but we cannot start over paying wages for players. weve done that with cole and aquilani maxi aurelio and now it might be restricting our ability to bring in other players.

Maybe a perormance based incentive might work. But 70k a week for sigurdsson is ridiculous even 55k is stupid.

Gylfis dad was on the radio this morning saying he had not made his mind up, said he could not tell what team he was leaning to but said Gylfi really really likes working with Brendan. He also said that what's going on in the papers was not true because Gylfi is still on loan with Swansea until July 1st and he won't move until that's done with. They had offers from Premier League teams when he moved from Reading to Hoffenheim who offered him more money but for Gylfi it all came down to playing time and not the size of the paycheck.* just wanted to share* This post has been edited by*kallib: Today, 11:11 AM

Sigurdsson wants to join #LFC. Fee is actually agreed. Payment structure to be discussed. Re Rodriguez, deal on table.

It's a great source yes, as the bloke says. But, what's his Dad gonna say ? even if a deal was in place, he's not going to pre-empt any announcement by blabbing to radio.
