Wonder what they would pay - presumably nothing like what we gave them for him.

Another solid performance ... great squad player .. his performance level is creeping up under Klopp, I remember how he used to play for Swansea and how he played when he first signed totaly bossed a number of Premiership games in the middle of the park by far the best player on the pitch a number of times, so he does have it in his locker. He is one player I would not like to see moved on.

Credit where it is due, he does look better when played in a more advanced role. Been decent the last few showings.

He's looked decent of late, certainly worth keeping in the squad.

Purely on the basis he actually ran into the box I'd be starting him.

I'd definitely be tempted to give Pirlo his game ahead of Lallana on Sat. He's the man in form out of the 2 of them and a spell on the bench might be he kick in the pants Lallana needs.
                Modifying post.

Listening to the radio and heard another mention of Swansea being interested. Didn't realise they only want to take him on loan

They'll probably try again in the summer with a permanent move for him.

Liverpool have rejected an enquiry from Swansea City about re-signing their former midfielder Joe Allen on loan.

Allen, 25, has 18 months left on the contract he signed when he left the Swans to join Liverpool in a £15m deal in August 2012.

The Wales international has started only one Premier League game since Jurgen Klopp was appointed manager at Anfield in October.

But Liverpool are keen to keep him as they compete in four competitions.

Allen scored Liverpool's first goal as they beat Exeter 3-0 on Wednesday to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Never thought I'd feel like issuing a hands off warning about Jesus.

Now we're looking for bigger fish than Ayew he should be kept for the cups certainly and it would be a good thing for the squad if Lallana was given a reminder he can be dropped in the league though given Pirlo played last night the bench beckons.
