It's not woeful but it is very ordinary that's for sure & needs to be addressed. Allen & Hendo will never be good enough for the first team and Lucas & Gerrard have struggled this season.

It could actually a very important miss for him. There is going to be a lot of focus on it, how he copes with that will tell a lot about him. Will he shake it of an keep on going or will he lose confidence. I'm not sure he'll be given another chance if his form drops.

Sometimes it just doesn't work out for players at a club. I'd say he'll get more chances, but my gut feeling is that he's not going to make it as a first 11 player for us.
