I wish everyone would get off his case tbh. He'd never start for me, not with everyone fit, but I still think he's a good squad player to have around. The problem with that is he needs to be in a rhythm to be at his best, but I think the dog's abuse he gets is over the top.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Always thought the same, does a job when called to.

He's a good option as a squad player, but I think that is all he will ever be (unless Klopp can work some magic on him)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think he's the best player we have in the squad with regards killing a game stone dead. If we are holding a lead he's an ideal played on to come on and just help us hold possession. He's not done enough to suggest he should start games, but I think he's a great option to have on the bench.

And I'm also delighted he's fit, I think his lack of strength doesn't show out as much in Europe, and as I feel Lucas isn't quite up to 90 mins twice a week, he's a great player to come in and partner someone else in the middle of the park for European games.

He was the epitomy of everything I hated about the last year of Brendan's style of play - the anaemic, passionless, slow, crab like football that was so horrendously ineffective and absolutely bored me to tears.

When he comes on as a sub and calms games down, I find him ok, I don't mind that. When he started for Brendan over the last 18 months, you just knew we wouldn't be starting quick and going for it, which was just massively frustrating.

He probably took abuse as the representation of Brendan's failing methods on the pitch too.

One issue is that we have a number of players who work best servicing other players - Lucas, Milner, Lallana and Allen all fall in that category. Klopp has changed the way Lucas is playing and he is having an influence on other players who aren't impact players which is good. Hopefully if Firmino, Coutinho and a forward get fit and on form then the other players will be able to show their best aspects.

He's actually a bit of a dirty cunt isn't he, very like Lucas.

Anyone reckon Klopp has told the players to scythe the opposition down if necessary? I'm not talking on Mourinho levels of cheating here.
