Absolutely disgusting transfer and whoever decided to sign him should be sacked. Bought him from Milan for £16m then twelve months later loan him back to the same club and most likely paying half his wages.

I'd be seriously pissed off with whoever gave the green light on the transfer in the first place if I owned LFC. £16m for what was effectively a 12 month loan.

LFC are not made of money and that £16m could have been spent on a proper bloody player.

Truth is the club is quids in, the new TV deals are fantastic (and outrageous) for the English game.
