"Evidence".
"Much improved performances". TWO (2) "performances" against Bolton & Chelsea - more accurately translated as "an okay game capped by two assists" and "another okay game capped by a great goal" - does not make him a success. Nor does it mean he is exempt from criticism. If the season ended tomorrow, £7m Pennant would be ruled an unequivocal failure, by everybody except you, it seems.
Pennant reckons he has "proved the doubters wrong". Just you and him, then.
He must improve but if you're happy with him then good luck to you. Who are you hoping for in the summer? Matthew Etherington?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

kuyt... excellent top man though if im greedy would like to see him being more clinical!
bellamy... at times very good at others wouldn't know hes playing needs to improve his consistancy stop getting caught offside and stop yapping at officials!
pennant...encouraged by him in recent weeks though his first touch is sloppy @times. needs to run at the full back more and give them more to think about and needs to stregthen up as a few times has been pushed of the ball to easy!
Paletta...pants
Gonzalez...had high hopes for this boy has had injuries i know however ive seen very little glimpses of anything from him and he seems to be feeling sorry for himself instead of getting up and getting back at it. id rather see someone keep trying and failing than not trying at all!I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

@ 'just me and him'. If you're going to make it personal, at least get your facts right. I've said he's been '
' so far - which is hardly glowing - but I've been directly challenging you on your views on the last 5-6 games he's played picking Bolton and Chavski as example where you appear to be watching entirely different games (despite poor attempts at 'go watch it again' and 'you should read the posts')
If you have to start making stuff up, it's best you don't bother arguing, it looks stupid.

Yes,Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostYep, you think he's been
based on a smattering (at the most) of good games since NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!
It's now only January 25th and the season started in August mate.
for season,
in recent games. (Christ, never thought I'd every put a sentence like that together
) Last 5-6, probably more, stretching back to our run since December.
I clearly don't think he was as poor in the first quarter of the season either.Quote of the year :

Final thought :
I realise a poll like this doesn't capture his mediocre games, but you've painted Pennant as spending the first 15-20 games hoofing the ball into Stanley Park, which is a little unfair
