He is also a hard working striker, we need a clinical striker that scores the easy goals, like Owen or Klose.

Yakubu isnt really he is a goal scorer he isnt hard working he lays the ball of well you rarely see hin trecking back.

Id say alunevans is right, we dont have the player who everyone fears, aka drogba rooney henry ronaldo ronaldinho eto'o etc.. Reputation and fear can do alot of damage before the game even kicked off.

I dont know and dont care. A goal is a goal IMO ho many games have we failed to score pens in. We havent got a good penalty taker (dont say fowler because he is nowhere near good enough)

Nah. You'll see. Get him a partner whos is prolific infront of goal and plays well off of him and you'll see the best of Kuyt. He's not a 20 goals a season striker at the moment but he could bag at least 15 if he was used in the right way.

I really hope you're right mate.

At times he's got the touch of a rapist, IMO. He can't finish, he's no good in the air, he's painfully slow. Yes he works amazingly hard and closes down but I don't think he's particularly adept at finding space and I honestly believe he's not better than Crouch. In fact I know he isn't.

I know who I'd be starting every week, and he'd score more goals.
