Point being, everyone has 'obstacles' to overcome when trying to attend games. Swings and roundabouts, my reply to your other post would be wait til you're not a student then.

Despite some people protesting the difficulty in getting to games (and I am one of them) surely everyone sees that its more fair for regulars to get the limited tickets? That surely is only fair

i honestly cant understand how people think that rick parry doesent have to come out and just be honest about where the tickets went. thats my only argument. regardless it it is 10.000 20.000 or 30.000 tickets just tell the fans where they went.

i'm only one example mate the thousands of people who have to work weekends because of their jobs or circumstances prevent them getting the match, the point is as parry said you could have a meeting with 100 people and they'd all come up with a different idea each for how to distribute.

As has already been said i think the distribution isn't necessarily the major issue more where the tickets went

And thousands find it hard to get to midweek games too.

What's the solution? There isnt one. Harsh as it sounds, it's a case of 'tough sh*t' really, isnt it?

this whole fiasco will have everyone scrambeling next year. the cycle will continue of people getting tickets not using them passing them on and still getting credits. kin joke really

but why should the thousands of people who cannot get to the match because of circumstances get as big a chance of getting a ticket as the thousands who do get there? They are the ones who should get the priority not the ones who would like to go because thy are working, studying, washing their car etc etc

As far as where the tickets went...well who knows!! How could the club say where they went though? They are supposed to have gone to people with 7+credits first and then 6 in a ballot? If they came out and said that so many went to employees, so many went to 7+ holders, and the remainder went to people in the ballot then would that be enough?

yes, but that's proving my point isn't it?

You're missing my point, the system will never satisfy everyone is what i'm saying

Putting every 6 crediter in the ballot, whether they can go or not is stupid and not revealing the numbers doesnt help matters, though.

Did we all need to know the numbers for istanbul when the same system was used - NO. The big difference this year is that more people went to 6 games, people learnt how to use the system to what they thought was to their advantage - more people got it than they thought so this happened.

With regards to the banner should say thanks Uefa not Rick PArry as it isn't his fault we are getting 3000 less than istanbul.

maybe I am missing your point, maybe we are actually agreeing without realising!

my second point where I said wold that be enough didn't mean would that be enoug tickets. It meant would that be enough for people who are currently upset at the process. Would the club coming out and making a reltively simple but meaningless statement appease them?

This is a good point. People have certainly wised up. I didn't even know about the UEFA lottery until it was too late in 2005.
