I know I am in the minority here, but I agree with you Chili. I achieves nothing but make everyone anxious, from the fans to the new owners. We may not ever know what exactly has been said between the two parties.
One more thing, does anyone think Rafa would have had his outbusrt he we won the champions league?
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Where did I say it was? Read the quote above it- I was responding to Chili's argument that Rafa had already been supported adequately.
      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I am sure he has already talked to them in private and he has felt the need to put on more pressure.

Only time will tell if this was a good move.

Who the **** is Parry "and co"?

You blamed the board, of which I think the new owners have the major say in.

LFC - the footballing Phoenix. Watch us rise.

If it forces cash to become available where did not look forthcoming and we sign some great players then it will be good for LFC
Seriously though mate, do you think he's trying to make money available.
No BIG transfers are paid in full these days, they are all paid in installments and usually they are paid with debt initially.

Thats exactly what he's main aim is. Rafa knows he can have the money but he wants a chance to use it on his First choice players not in late August on his 3rd or 4th choice players
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

Yes I do. He wants to start planning for next season and as of 10.30 on Wednesday night we are in next season. Win or lose the situation would still be the same and action would still need to be taken.

You've totally missed the point, he says he thinks the money is there, he just wants action.

You're ranting about something he's not even complaining about.

Fair enough if his targets are all in the Premier league/ English leagues.

Some countries haven't finished playing yet.

                              "Ranting" being the operative word.

I am not so sure Scot. I think the dissapointment of missing out on the champions league because of the quality of our attacking provoked Rafa into saying what he did
