it is a great gesture by the club.

    Well done.

    and lets hope its observed.

and to anyone who lets petty rivalries colour their view on this, now is not the time!

I think it i a great idea and will observe it. I hope one positive that comes out of it is that a clear message is sent to anyone that knows anything to come forward as it will get plenty of press attention.

cant ****in believe some of that ****..... one of the first posts "what has this got to do with football??"

        A. nothing it is about a young innocent lad who mas murdered regardless of his colours, ffs thick now here to think that someone could say something so idiotic !!!

i might not be posting here too long but i dont think such a heartless comment would ever be posted on Est 1892
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Think it is a nice gesture.

That said there are a great many injustices in this world and sometimes I do feel that football is used too much as a place where the latest media frenzy has to be explored / acknowledged, rather than being used with a view to raising awareness of larger social issues.

Starting to agree with you, was looking at YNWA and they have had to close a thread because of a few idiots, seems that some people don't know when to shut up.

It's pathetic really, and it could end up embarrassing the club. I just hope those of us who are at the match drown out the idiots, maybe by singing something like 'There's only one Rhys Jones' above Z-Cars or something like that.

I very much doubt that will happen. I think it will pass off without incident.

It'll be nice for the family to know that the whole of Liverpool is feeling for them. Also the Bluenoses united with us after Hillsborough. Someone posted a link to an Everton site and they were (mostly) totally blown away by the gesture.

Not that it has anything to do with them.
