I think two will be brought in

One as fitness coach, one as assistant (or coach if Miller is promoted)
Could be right. Far too early to speculate yet though - after all, the final "big bust up" only took place yesterday.

I think we should bring in world class fitness coach Werner Leuthard.

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Miller looks like a Phil Neal type!

So Pako was more of a fitness coach then, as opposed to being assistant manager ?

something along the lines of Phil Thompson marched into Melwood like a sergeant major...

Phil Thompson is great but I wouldn't want him back.

We need to look at someone else I'm sure Rafa has people in mind. It's a blow though I mean this must of been brewing for a while.
**** OFF HICKS AND GILLETT WE DON'T WANT YOU.

                            Thats the whole point

                            He was BOTH

So we have to replace one man with two

If Miller steps up as assistant that leaves the first team coach berth empty

Rafas big opn increasing the backroom staff I expect it to be increased further now

Got to say I was really hoping this wouldn't be tru when I read it last night, for those who've read a season on the brink and few other LFC books, they'll know how much Pako contributes to the side, in terms of watching videos with rafa of the oppo, getting the player in condition and in terms of morale.

I think this will be a huge loss for LFC, but certainly not something we can't recover from, just like no player is irreplaceable no member of the backroom team is irreplaceable. We've coped with losing Paco Herrerea, Jose Ochotorena, even other backroom staff like Heighway and Mcparland, they have all been replaced and i'm sure it'll be no different with pako.

At the end of the day it's Rafa who's the manager and he makes the choices, just like it'll be his choice who takes over from Pako, I think it's just a shock how the news has come about, if he'd left over the summer in better circumstances we probably wouldn't be as worried. My guess is Alex Miller will take over for now and maybe rafa will use this international break to find himself a new number 2 or maybe number 3 if Miller takes over, i'm sure he's been getting trained in the ways of Rafa and Pako for the last 3 yrs
