imho eto is the best striker in the world he is a one off but torres is younger so ask me again in a year

TBH I am absolutely amazed at how quickly Torres has adapted to both the physical side and tempo of the EPL.

Give him a month or so for the rest of the strikers to learn his runs et al and I can see him blazing a trail that no others will be able to follow.

BTW His acceleration is unbelievable!

Didn't he score the winner in the FA Cup and Carling Cup, I can't remember for sure. He scored that stunner against us last season. Plus i'm sure he's scored a fair few with his left foot.

You maybe right, but I refuse to admit that he, technically, is better than Torres. Not even close.

I'm really excited by Torres and by our attacking options on the whole this season. We've got a much better threat down the flank with the addition of Babel and the continuing development of Pennant. With Gerrard freed up in the middle, I can't help but think we are going to get many more openings going forward. All good things, methinks.
