I think the term "Hit the ground running" is very appropriate at the moment, The team and especially Torres have done this..He has settled very quickly. I am a little surprised how quick he has adapted.

I'm not. having watched him for years in La Liga, I knew he had the personality and game to adapt easily.

no offence but torres isn't better than eto and the scoring charts and achievements backs that up.

No offence taken, but E'too's been playing in a far better side. Also I don't know if E'too would have felt he had as much to prove as Torres so maybe his motivation wouldn't have been as great.

I feel slightly p!ssed off that another player of mediocre quality will again be our first summer signing.

This is a bit bad but if he breaks a leg or something, it might just be the best thing for us. (and him in the long run)

Eh lads, I think you're all thinking that I've not seen him before. I have, many times and he's really not LFC standard. But if he proves me wrong, i'll make my own humble pie and enjoy it.

Eto`o and Torres up front is just about THE dream strikeforce. There styles are made for each other. Torres doing the legwork and eto`o banging them in.

Your main gripe with him, like many others on here was that he was free, doesnt do a stepover, and isnt a "big name".

Just give players a chance in future to prove themselves, or you can quite possibly end up making a **** of yourself.
