It doesn't but Luton are a lower league club so I can't see why we are refusing this request. It seems money is more important than "the game" to some people and that is a tragedy.

It's not only Liverpool that has a responsibility to help smaller clubs. Us alone giving them a wad of cash would mean we're the only club helping out in that way, and they're the only club benefitting whilst other clubs who haven't been involved in corruption scandal or had serious mismanagement issues get **** all.

Way I see it people should be putting pressure on the top clubs as a whole to do more for ALL smaller clubs and directing their wrath at the FA for not allowing clubs to switch venues, something which would benefit everyone. Us giving Luton £100k to shove into a black hole just doesn't really make a great deal of sense to me. Way things are now the media will whip up a frenzy over this, we'll get blamed, and **** all will change. Only genuine difference I can see if we'd given them the money would be from a PR perspective.

Anyone know how to get in touch with the stooges on Soccer Saturday, most notably Jeff Stelling, whose distain for the mighty Reds grows stronger by the day?

They must have individual email addresses.

Are you sure you're not projecting?

Seriously, while there may be benefits in Rafa getting the players to feel that way I don't think it's necessary or desirable for us as supporters to act like it's true.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Pathetic from LFC. I don't give a**** if it's not our problem, it ****ing will be if all the lower clubs in England are wiped out and talent stops coming through

That is not an option anymore as the FA don't allow it. The only exception to this rule is on the grounds of legitimate safety concerns
I am sure, had he wanted, Lutons safety officer could have conveyed his safety concerns to the local "friendly" police force, scousers reputation for bunking in, legitimate fear of fans without tickets outside the ground etc etc

as someone said earlier, it looks like they want to have their cake and eat it
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

Do **** off. We have enough anti LFC bias from the media, we don't need our fans jumping on the bandwagon, though I'm sure many love to do so.
